It’s been weird from the jump.

While most kids babysat or dished out rocky road, I made my first buck as the only child in a stage production of The Full Monty, a musical about a group of unemployed steelworkers who turn to erotic dance to make ends meet.

Somehow—across roles in advertising and politics—things have gotten even more interesting since I left the stage.
