How do you win press coverage for a candidate predicted to lose by 14 points? Well, you annoy the hell out of the 60+ reporters on your press list. It wasn’t easy, but Trish eventually became a valuable voice on the Left for reporters seeking comment on everything from abortion rights to student loan forgiveness. A major component of my job was preparing her for these interviews and all public remarks.
